Since more than thirty years, students from all over the world have been celebrating this annual festival of chamber music. Under the direction of internationally well-known teachers of chamber music students of string and wind instruments as well as pianists gather to work intensively standard and lesser-known works in a wide range of instrumental combinations.
Studied in Berlin and St. Petersburg; international concert activity as soloist and chamber musician; professor for violin and chamber music at the Berlin University of Music „Hanns Eisler“; long-time mentor of string quartets Vogler, Kuss, Faust, Rubens, Atrium, Calder, Ebène and Anima et al.
Studied music at Cambridge University and at the Eastman School of Music in New York; violist of the Lindsay String Quartet, with whom he played for twenty years and recorded almost all the standard repertoire; founder member of the piano quartet Domus; senior Viola Tutor at Birmingham Conservatoire and teaches at the University of Sheffield, Cambridge University and on international courses.
Studied in Bucharest and Essen; founder of the Orlando Quartet; international concert activity; founder and until 2011 director of the Orlando Festival; Professor at the Dutch String-Quartet Academy in Amsterdam.
Studied in Cologne; international concert activity as soloist and chamber musician; founder and member of the Linos Ensemble; until 1990 principal oboist of the Bavarian Symphony Orchestra; professor for oboe at the Hanover University of Music and Drama.
Studied in Detmold; Member of the Frankfurt Radio Symphony and the Radio Symphony Orchestra Stuttgart; after additional studies also conductor of opera and youth orchestras, Professor for clarinet at the Stuttgart Academy of Music and Performing Arts.
Studied in Hanover, principal clarinettist of the Hanover Radio Orchestra (NDR) and the Bamberg Symphony Orchestra until 2000; international concert activity; professor for clarinet at the Hanover University of Music and Drama.
Studied in Tel Aviv, Hanover, Lübeck and Boston; international concert activity as a soloist and chamber musician (founding member of the Brillaner Duo, Oberon Trio); winner of numerous international piano and chamber music competitions, Professor for chamber music at the Academy of Music „Hanns Eisler“ in Berlin.
